Mr. Vain: the Wrong Way to Train

Bruno’s Fitness: The Truth About the Zyzz Hysteria

Bruno adjusted the mic on his fitness podcast, his voice calm but firm. “Alright, folks, today we’re talking about something that’s been bothering me for a while—Zyzz hysteria. Now, don’t get me wrong, the guy had an incredible physique, but let’s take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Why is the world idolizing someone who took shortcuts and paid the ultimate price?”

He leaned into the camera, his expression serious. “Let’s be real here. Zyzz’s body wasn’t built on hard work and dedication alone. Steroids played a huge role, and no one seems to want to talk about that. Instead, they glorify the aesthetic without acknowledging the dangers that come with it. He died young, folks—at 22. That’s not success. That’s a cautionary tale.”

Bruno clicked through a few slides on his screen, showing images of natural bodybuilders alongside those who had taken performance-enhancing drugs. “Look, I get it. Everyone wants results fast. But there are no shortcuts to a great body. Steroids might give you temporary gains, but they come with a price—your health, your longevity, your life. Zyzz’s story should be a warning, not an inspiration.”

He paused, letting the message sink in. “And here’s the thing: the fitness industry feeds off this hysteria. They sell you supplements, programs, and even more shortcuts, knowing full well that most people won’t stick with the basics—proper nutrition, consistent training, and patience. But that’s the only way to build a body that lasts.”

Bruno leaned back, his tone softening. “I’m not here to bash Zyzz. I’m here to ask: why do we idolize someone who, by all accounts, was a failure in the grand scheme of things? He had potential, sure, but he let it go to waste by chasing the fast track. We should be celebrating people who do it the right way—who show us that hard work and discipline pay off without compromising your health.”

He looked directly into the camera. “If you’re serious about fitness, stop looking for shortcuts. Train smart, eat right, and give it time. The world doesn’t need more Zyzz hysteria. It needs more people who are willing to do the work and stay in it for the long haul.”

As he wrapped up the episode, Bruno left his listeners with a challenge: “Next time you hit the gym, think about why you’re there. Are you chasing a quick fix, or are you building something that will last a lifetime? The choice is yours.”

The outro music played, and Bruno sat back, hoping his words would resonate. Fitness wasn’t about idolizing the wrong role models; it was about creating a culture of health, longevity, and integrity. And that was a legacy worth striving for.
